Mr. Mazza has successfully argued in front of the California Supreme Court, which awarded damages to his clients, a family of five injured on a Los Angeles bus route. The driver negligently failed to take steps to prevent the incident while one of his clients, pregnant at the time, was hit in the head with a skateboard. The others were battered, while the driver did nothing. His successful verdict yielded not only in financial restitution, but ensured liability for the bus service and thus safer commutes in the heavy crime areas of Los Angeles in the 1980’s.

Much has changed since Steven Mazza started practicing in the 80’s. The climate has turned from pro consumer, to pro business.
